Letterpress / Foil Stamping

• Acceptable File Format is AI, EPS or PDF
• All fonts must be converted to outline
• Minimum font size is 6pt, and minimum line weight is 0.25pt.
• Panton Color only, No CMYK Color
• Metallic ink is available for most of paper (Gold and Silver only)
• No image, gradients color and large solid areas color allowed in file
• Indicate the printing option side in separate file. Example: Letterpress-Frontside.pdf, gold foil-backside.pdf

CMYK Printing File

• Acceptable File Format is PSD, JPG, PNG, AI, EPS or PDF
• All fonts must be converted to outline for AI and EPS file
• Minimum font size is 6pt, and minimum line weight is 0.25pt.
• No PMS ink
• Artwork must provide at least 0.125in bleed
• Rich Black: C60 M40 Y40 K100
• Mask File must be provided separately (Spot UV, Raised INK, Foil and Embossing)

Design Guideline and Bleed

• We need at least 300 DPI file resolution if your uploading file format is JPG or PNG.
• File must have a 0.125-inch Bleed around your image. For example, the file size for a business card with a final size of 3.5 x 2" would be 3.75 x 2.25".
• 125-inch safety margin for your content is a requirement. Any object that is not in the safety margin may be trimmed off during printing process. Please refer the instruction image below:

Spot UV, Embossing, Letterpress and Foil Stamping Design Guideline

As a request, Please prepare a separated file for Spot UV, Embossing, Letterpress and Foil Stamping. The area should be black color and converted to outline. Please refer the graphic below.
